Isis Audio Visuals Limited have extensive experience specifying & installing projection systems in lecture theatres, home cinema setups and in many other configurations. There is no 'one size fits all' solution with projectors, and an appropriate model for one application will not necessarily suit another. Our demonstration facility showcases a CineVersum home cinema projector, but we can supply information and case studies for many other applications, including:
Lecture Theatre Projection Systems
Manufacturers such as Christie, Eiki, Vivitek & NEC are options to consider. In many lecture theatres specialist long-throw lenses are required or matched twin projection systems are in use. To suggest a suitable model, we would need to discuss factors such as room size, budget, resolution requirements, connectivity and many other factors. If this is a new build, then plans would need to be consulted, or for a refurbishment, then we can discuss a site visit.
Classrooms & Small Meeting Rooms
Budget may be a key consideration here, especially if many rooms need to be equipped with projectors. Ongoing running costs should also be addressing, in terms of lamp replacement costs, length of warranty and requirements for maintenance contracts.
Twin or Triple Projection Setups
Often with the ability to show either the same or different images on separate projectors, this can be an effective solution for larger rooms. In this instance we would usually specify appropriate switchgear, cabling & control systems. Multiple images can be edge-blended to form a composite image if necessary.
3D Projection
What used to be a very high-priced option is now within reach of all. 3D projection is slowly filtering through to the mainstream, having once been the preserve of very specialist industries.
Lampless Projection
Brands such as Casio have for some time been supply 'lampless' projectors, with a higher initial purchase price, but potentially a lower long term cost of ownership.
Home Cinema
Here the requirement is less for brightness, with more emphasis on other image characteristics, such as excellent contrast ratio, high resolution and highly realistic colour imaging. Most new projectors for a home cinema application will also support 3D, and would be supplied with HDMI connectivity to a source such as a 3D Bluray player. Our demonstration facility features a Cineversum Blackwing projector with audio powered by ADA amplification into a 7.1 surround sound using Leon custom speakers.
