Isis Audio Visuals Limited have extensive experience installing and servicing audio visual equipment for schools, colleges, Universities and other training organisations. Some of the services and technologies we can supply are listed below.
AV Installation: Classrooms, Seminar Rooms & Lecture Theatre
A basic installation may involve ceiling mounting a projector, or wall mounting a flatscreen display, and then cabling to wall or floor plate connection points. For a small classroom or seminar room, this may be all that you need. Larger rooms may benefit from some of the following options:
- Interactive Whiteboards or Flatscreens (SmartBoard, CleverTouch, etcetera)
- Video Conferencing & Telepresence Systems
- Control interfaces (eg AMX, Creston, Savant, Extron or Control4)
- Rail Systems
- PA systems, hearing induction loops & wireless microphones

Lecture Capture
Record your lectures and archive to your intranet for future access. Build a revision bank and allow students and colleagues to re-access the content at a later date. Your lecture or seminar can be streamed live or stored for future retrieval. Encoded Media solutions are available with either room licenses or for clients with multiple lecture theatres, seminar rooms or classrooms, a site license option may be a more economic investment.
Digital Signage
Whether for a reception area or distributed displays throughout your organisation, we have a range of digital signage solutions to offer. Depending on budget and your application, Onelan NTB systems may suit, and this is our flagship digital signage product, with very sophisticated capabilities. Particularly suited to larger organisations, where a heirarchical network of players and signage screens can be implimented. Other systems available include the very intuitive SEDAO digital signage system.
Interactive Whiteboards & Flatscreen Technologies
Whether you prefer to use a conventional projection system onto an interactive whiteboard, such as a SmartBoard, or a flatscreen display (LCD or LED) with built-in touch responsiveness, we would be happy to provide details on available options.
Maintenance Contracts
Isis AV can provide AV Maintenance Contracts on sites where we have installed equipment, or where this has been carried out by a third party. If we have not supplied / installed the equipment, please email full details of the equipment you need cover for. This is normally sent as an equipment list for each room / area, along with photographs and location details of the site(s) to be covered. Once we have evaluated this information, we can then contact you by phone or videoconference meeting, with the next stage being a site survey.
Live Link Overspill Areas
Where your largest lecture theatre cannot accomodate the audience for an event, we can assist with a live link transmission of video & audio to a nearby room, or a videoconference link to a distant location
Health & Safety
A key concern with any installation work, is that this is all carried out with due care for health and safety issues. We are therefore happy to provide RAM's (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) for all installation work on request. We have a team of employment lawyers and health & safety advisors on retainer, and consult regularly to ensure that our practices, paperwork and insurance cover are up to date. We have increased our PLI cover to £5 million to cover some of the projects that we have been asked to assist with.
It would be appreciated if you can advise on your company's requirements for health & safety documentation and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) prior to site visits. Power tools are all PAT tested according to current regulations.
Video Conferencing
We would be happy to discuss your video conferencing & telepresence requirements. While we are accredited Radvision suppliers, with demonstration stock of this range, we are happy to work with other brands, such as Polycom, Sony, Cisco (Tandberg), Radvision & Avaya. Control Systems
Isis Audio Visuals supply, program and install a range of control systems, including AMX, Extron & Savant. These cater for the whole range of requirements within an educational establishment, from basic push-button panels up to large lecture theatre installs with touchscreen or iPad front-end. Control all aspects of your room from one panel, to select source, output device, audio level, electric blinds or curtains and lighting levels.
Special Needs: hearing loop systems & sensory pods
For students or staff with hearing loss, you may require a hearing induction loop system or an IR system. In some cases you will be required by the DDS (Disability & Discrimination Act) to have this installed. Some Special Needs clients will benefit from the calming environment of a Sensory Room or a Sensory Pod.
